I am a Scottish artist living in Fife with a special interest in creating poetic and vibrant compositions, inspired by my love of nature and music..
My style evolves and changes, flowing with the environment around me. My work is diverse and includes abstract pieces, Scottish seascapes, Scottish landscapes, printing, beach wood sculptures and cast sculptures.
I use light, colour, texture and shape to bring my work to life. Materials include oils, acrylics, pastels and other mediums. I have a particular passion for up-cycling and bringing objects I find to a new state of being.
My interest in art goes back 30 years, although I have been spending more time recently building my portfolio of work. I moved to the East Neuk of Fife a couple of years ago and have found a very special place, the light is truly inspirational as is the local life and the lovely people. I now think of myself a local Fife artist.
I create pieces and I am very happy to take art commissions - I believe art should be affordable and accessible, as well as bringing pleasure and joy to all our lives.
Some of my art work displayed around Lower Largo in Fife, you can view these art pieces at The Aurie on Main Street and in the The Crusoe Hotel at the harbour, I also exhibit at the Largo Arts Week held each year in July.
