ABOUT FOOTERS

 Benefits of a Good Footer

What are the advantages of a well designer footer? And why should you think about using a footer?

1. A FOOTER IMPROVES THE USER EXPERIENCE

Users need to find the information they want quickly and easily. Preferably in no more than 3 clicks. So putting all the relevant information in the footer of your new affordable, low cost website can help make life easier for your visitors, and give them what they want. This helps to provide a better user experience. Which in turn means that your website visitors are more likely to become customers.

2. STORE EXTRA INFORMATION

If you really want to include something on your web page, but it just doesn't fir cohesively with the rest of the design, you don't have to be too worried. Instead, you can simply put this content into the footer. As long as it fits in with the footer of course.

This means that clunky things like maps and client testimonials will always have a secure position on your website, and users will always be able to find them.

3.MEET USER EXPECTATIONS

The vast majority of big websites use a footer that is filled with additional links and content.

This content might appear elsewhere on the page, like the navigation bar for example but the footer space means that users don't have to scroll all the way back up to find it.

Users have got used to this system. Which means that they generally expect to be able to find your contact details at the bottom of the page. As well as other useful pieces of information. So, if you want to meet user expectations, you should think about the footer on your new affordable, low cost website.
