A Busy Summer for New Websites

This summer has been really busy with a great number of new websites being created.

As always there has been a wide range of clients for the new websites, ranging from online clothing store, to a community site for 2 churches.

Each site and client are unique, its been a pleasure to work with these new businesses and communities to make their website vision a reality and I've received some amazing feedback along the way, which makes the work very satisfying!

Take a look at a couple of the sites to give you ideas for your own site.

Leggin It's Home page
Awesome Leggings from Leggin It

This online store is a great example of a modern approach to selling online, each item has been added to a category to help buyers easily find the type of leggings they are looking for, or they can scroll through all products, the choice is theirs. Each item has its own description, shipping rates and availability. A range of shipping costs have been added with a free shipping over a certain order value, tempting buyers to add more items to their basket. The owner also offers a free pick up service for local buyers, which can be selected during the purchase.

The admin area provides a stock control system for the owner to keep an eye on when he needs to reorder products and a record of all sales, telling him what has been ordered and the status of that order, with invoices automatically created for each sale. Everything a small online shop needs to offer their clients a great service and keep the business focussed.

Leggin It are based in Leven, Fife, the owner Raymond Jennings is a really nice guy, very helpful and a pleasure to do business with. Have a look through the site, I'm sure you'll be tempted! www.legginit.co.uk

Another site I'd like to show is the community site created for Falkland and Freuchie Churches.

This is a great example of a community site to share everything from what's on to their church services. Getting the weekly services out to the community, especially during the recent issues with gathering indoors, was a major factor in designing the site. Being able to link to a YouTube channel has given access to the church for everyone.

The church admin team decided that a blog would be another great way to keep in touch with their members, its a very easy to use feature taking just a few minutes to create and post a blog, the team decided not to use the term blog, preferring to call the page News, Events & More, they felt this would be understood better by their older members.

The site also has a a members area where church members can join the site, allowing them to get notifications of the latest blog and receive newsletters direct to their inbox.

Committee members all have admin access to the site so they can add news items and add, edit and delete pages as they require, but for security they can't delete the site!

This site gives the church community full control on their web presence and is a great way of reaching out to remote parishioners. Take a look through their site www.falklandandfreuchiechurches.com

The final website I would like to show here is Coastal Campers Oban.

George at Coastal Campers Oban decided that his business would be best presented with a great range of images, a picture does paint a thousand words, you can't always describe how a bespoke camper conversion will look but you can show clients ideas to help them decide on what type of conversion would suit their needs.

This site is designed to show exactly what the owner can offer, with easy navigation site visitors can find the area they are looking for and also peruse the gallery, George sells the active life exceptionally well and he is obviously passionate about all things outdoors!

On the About page George wanted to give potential clients a sense of who he is as well as what he does, all conversions are bespoke, all furniture is made for each van conversion by George himself. You can see from the images that he is just a camper fanatic, out there whenever he can, go George!

Take a closer look at the site, he will convert you can to your specification, he also sells newly converted vans and has a camper van hire service, try the life before you buy.

Whatever your campervan needs call George. Visit the site at www.coastalcampersoban.co.uk

If you are thinking about a site for your business, shop, community group, play group, sports club, fundraising site get in touch, I'll be happy to help.
